2009 10 Χρόνια νομισματική ένωση

Το ευρώ (€  EUR) είναι το ενιαίο επίσημο νόμισμα της Ευρωζώνης, η οποία αποτελείται από 19 από τα 28 κράτη-μέλη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης: Αυστρία, Βέλγιο, Γαλλία, Γερμανία, Ελλάδα, Εσθονία, Ιρλανδία, Ισπανία, Ιταλία, Κύπρος, Λετονία, Λιθουανία, Λουξεμβούργο, Μάλτα, Ολλανδία, Πορτογαλία, Σλοβακία, Σλοβενία και Φινλανδία.Το νόμισμα χρησιμοποιείται, επίσης, από τα Θεσμικά Όργανα της ΕΕ και άλλα τέσσερα Ευρωπαϊκά κράτη, καθώς και από άλλα δύο κράτη, μονομερώς. Αυτό έχει ως αποτέλεσμα το ευρώ να χρησιμοποιείται καθημερινά από 337 εκατομμύρια Ευρωπαίους. Εκτός Ευρώπης, ένας αριθμός υπερπόντιων εδαφών Κρατών-Μελών της Ευρωζώνης έχουν το ευρώ ως επίσημο νόμισμά τους,
