To ευρώ € EUR (σύμβολο: € κωδικός: EUR)
είναι το επίσημο νόμισμα των 19 από τα 27 κράτη-μέλη
της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (ΕΕ). Η ομάδα των χωρών της ΕΕ
που έχουν υιοθετήσει το ευρώ ως νόμισμα τους είναι γνωστή
ως Ευρωζώνη και περιλαμβάνει
350 εκατομμύρια πολίτες Το ευρώ είναι το δεύτερο μεγαλύτερο
και το δεύτερο πιο ανταλλάξιμο νόμισμα σ
την αγορά συναλλάγματος μετά
το δολάριο των ΗΠΑ.
